Obviously the length of time the later has to play is a limiting factor. Although I'm also a big proponent of a brief playoff system, I can see folks targeting the negatives as soon as it is put into place.<BR/><BR/>I can only imagine what MLB would be like if they placed two teams in the world series based on the regular season.<BR/><BR/>That being said, I often find that the briefness of the college football season makes every game, and every play, more intense, especially the rivalry games.<BR/><BR/>Speaking of which, I don't see any Auburn helmet in that picture.
